Curved and Corner Windows

December 22, 2010 · Posted in Modern Design

Here are some quick examples curved glass and corner windows.  Though I believe special window treatment can add a really nice touch to a modern home, I think caution and detail must be the rule of thumb.  A house can look out-dated almost immediately if trendy or poor window detail is used.  I think I prefer the corner windows to the curved, in the end.

How is the corner glazing assembly joined. Is it a monolithic glass simply miterd or an insulated glazing assembly overlapping with a spacerbar? Or an miterd insulated glazing assembly.

I’m not sure Joseph. Let me do some research and I’ll post on it soon.

Where are the best places to go looking for curved windows? I want to use some for a front porch.
