North Clad Aluminum Panel Series

So the more we get to know each other, the more you’ll discover my man crush on Richard Meier.  I would sell a limb to live in the Douglas House, but I digress.  One of the looks that he creates on his houses is the white grid, and one way to create that look one your house is the North Clad rain screen.  They have several options, but I liked the Aluminum Series.  Your house could also qualify for LEED credits by using it:

  • Green Building Assistance & LEED® Credit Potential.
  • Base material contains 50%+ recycled content. LEED® MR Credit 4.
  • Several paint options with SRI value greater than 29. LEED® SS Credit 7.
  • All products are 100% recyclable to assist in waste stream diversion. LEED® MR Credit 2.
  • Manufactured in the Pacific Northwest by a local workforce.

On the North Clad website they’ve got some good pictures to get a feel for the scale and to get some creative juices flowing.  I may just rip the brick off my house to put up their rain screen.
